Another Friday is here - looking forward to another busy weekend. Update from the last week or so:
* My friend is doing okay but it will be some time I think before she will have a *normal* life
* Had a nice weekend with family last weekend including ANZAC day
* My father in law ended up in hospital this week as he couldn't swallow food and drink - turns out his oesophagus has narrowed and was inflamed. He is now on medication and has to go back to the specialist in 6 weeks to have it widened. He got out of hospital on Wednesday and they have been staying with us until today. Back home to Dunedoo now.
* Boys are doing well
* Had a trip to Orange yesterday for work - wasn't too cold!
* Started re-doing all the stock clerk reports for the last two years as some of the opening balances didn't carry forward properly. Then I need to do a stock take before end of financial year.
* Have an OZIBOD meeting tonight - the proposal for the online store will be discussed
* Need to get the Red River Runes newsletter done hopefully this weekend
* Need to clean out my walk in wardrobe which is full of everything but clothes!
* Target Archery tomorrow and IKAC
* Need to get Gryffen's device drawn up and a money order done (might try and do that today)
* Need to pay for the green slip on the ute
* Need to do the washing
* Went to the fracture clinic today - the new buzz words are 'bone crush injury' to go with the crack fracture. What does this mean? At least 6 months to get mostly back to normal. Will probably never get back to normal, may cause long term issues or future problems - will need to wait and see. I need to wait 2 to 3 months more and if things aren't mostly back to normal I need to see the ankle specialist who comes to town once every 6 weeks. Continue wearing a tubi grip on the ankle, physio, flat shoes, minimal exercise and being on it etc. Continue with pain medication as needed. *sigh* And all for not paying attention! Looks like my lovely stilleto punck rock boots are relegated to the closet for some time yet!
* My dad goes to the specialist about his liver problem in just under a fortnight
* My mum and dad are booked to go to New Zealand for two weeks in September - glad they are going, they deserve to have a great holiday!
And that should do for now.....
